BEST TENNIS RACKETS for SENIOR TENNIS PLAYERS
As you get older, tennis changes into a different game. So here are some hints on how to play as good or ever better than you did in your younger days.
1_ Strategy is all important. Use your experience to try to predict where a serve will go or whether your opponent will hit that ground stroke cross-court or down the line. Make up for loss of speed with smarts.
2_ Focus on fitness. Get regular exercise to stay fit. If you just go to the tennis court on Saturday and play hard you risk injury. So hit a few times a week, or do a few miles on the elliptical at nights.
3_ Remember good nutrition and hydration. Younger bodies can take more abuse, but older folks need to treat their bodies with tender loving care.
4_ Use the right equipment. The right shoes (see our article on “Gamechanger Footgear”) and the right tennis racket is a must. So, follow the advice above and secure the right racket below, and enjoy tennis for years to come!
