Children are a blessing! Back in Bible times, agriculture made children especially important. The whole economy of the farm depended upon young and healthy family members who could chip in and help support the family. Today children are no less important. Because if we pray for them and raise them with character and integrity, they will be the young champions who will solve problems, bring peace, and help our world to follow in the footsteps of Jesus. The Bible says it this way in Psalms 127:3, “Children are a heritage from the LORD, offspring a reward from him.”
