CHANGE of HEART

You can change the actions of a person using force, manipulation, laws, and punishment. But God recommends a far more effective and efficient way, to transform. It’s to change a person’s heart. If your heart is right, the law of God comes naturally. God uses your conscience and integrity to lead you.

If the Lord has first place in your heart you are not motivated by some external threat or coercion. You want to act right because your heart is right; made right by the salvation power of the Lord Jesus Christ. The Bible says in this way in Mark 7:21-22, “For from within, out of the heart of man, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, coveting, wickedness, deceit, sensuality, envy, slander, pride, foolishness.”
