Years ago, the United Negro College fund had a slogan that is as true today as when it was written so long ago. It goes like this, “The mind is a terrible thing to waste.” The mind is powerful and precious. Its genius used for good can invent items and come up with ideas that can benefit mankind. But, its genius when used for evil threatens to destroy life here on earth as we know it. So, harness your mind…and that’s only possible through the Spirit of God in you. The Bible says it this way, “For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace.” (Romans 8:6)
