SEEING thru JESUS’ EYES
Jesus perceives thing from a different perspective. He looks past our bold facades and sees our pain. He notices when we are sick, fearful, harassed, and helpless. And He uses His followers to extend His ministry to others. So, as you read our focal passage from the Bible below, pray that you can see the world the way Jesus sees it, and respond to the world with the compassion of Jesus. The harvest of needs is so great around the earth. Will you make yourself available today to be a worker in God’s fields?
(Matthew 9:35-38) 35 Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness. 36 When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. 37 Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. 38 Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”
